Tupuārangi is comprised of two words: tupu which can mean ‘new shoot’ or ‘to grow’, and rangi (sky), and named after the Matariki star. This young male has a lot of growing to do. He is enamoured with Ruby, and maybe a little love sick.

We think eventually this new shoot will grow into his name. For now he’s a bit emotional, and could use some confidence.
